Jérôme Duval bc19ead830 added a settings file for auich 
there is now an option for laptops for which no interrupt is available (ie stippi's one) : use_thread
even when use_thread is active, it could be needed to use a higher value for buffer_frames (ie 512)

Jérôme Duval 9cd5adb2a5 fixed some oddities with accent dead keys, this should fix bug #719 : 
dead keys are now available through option key
diaeresis and acute are now presented with diaeresis and acute characters (instead of double-quote and quote characters)

Jérôme Duval 17408188c5 SetValue now avoids itself switching off 
also added an ASSERT to check the current radio button is still on after the switching off process
this fixes the weird behavior in the password window of the ScreenSaver prefapp

Jérôme Duval b8fc177d9c * default source BRect is now offset to B_ORIGIN because Bitmap bounds lefttop could be something else than (0,0). This caused some bugs in Haiku SoundRecorder app 
i* thus the NOTE in Painter isn't valid anymore
* in Painter::_DrawBimap() moved scale computation after potential changes to BRects
* fix typo : right => bottom. This caused a bug in Haiku Mouse preferences app

Jérôme Duval 954f408f50 * PTHREAD_MUTEX_INITIALIZER inits to NULL, pthread_mutex_lock now call pthread_mutex_init to support this PTHREAD_MUTEX_INITIALIZER 
* pthread_key_create and pthread_key_delete now manages correctly a list of key/destructor
* pthread_create now uses a private thread function to add a "on_exit_thread" call for destructors
* pthread_join now returns B_OK in every case, and, as a joinable thread could already be gone, wait_for_thread would not find it

Jérôme Duval bb2242b422 added a test for message forward 
on R5 it seems a reply to a asynchronously-forwarded synchronous BMessage is the same as when no forward happens
I didn't test on Haiku, but I suspect the behavior is different, especially a _previous_ is added as for asynchronous BMessages

Jérôme Duval 2814f73c87 imported a stripped down fluidsynth 1.0.7 
* a shared library is built, no audio driver is included
* implemented some platform specific functions (fluid_sys.*)
* a test app is provided in fluidsynth.c
* on target Haiku, posix mutex are used, else mutexes are implemented with simple semaphores (I could be wrong here)
well I hope it can provide a good enough backend for a softsynth
Note that needed SF2 banks would probably not be included.
