* Wakeup periodically search thread, cancelling should be
more responsive now...
* Show Lines setting is now saved too
* Fix a bug, current file is display again while searching.
* Always pass line number, if any, to invoked app.
Works with StyledEdit as with Pe.
Partially fix#13289.
Another change will add "open with" context menu and remove "Open with Pe".
The welcome page was still saying the only way to update Haiku
is per command line. Not as much welcoming as one could expect
since SoftwareUpdater is now available.
Add SoftwareUpdater to the list of Haiku's applications in User Guide.
* Previously, each file was starting a shell to run grep
command on it. Very suboptimal performance, big overhead.
* Now a thread write each file path to xargs input,
while another start xargs, let it distribute files on
grep processes (one per cpu) and collect results asap.
* This bring results way faster than previously.
* Rename Escape Text setting into Regular Expression, as
name was more after shell workaround than after function.
* While it doesn't use a native text searching, by
reusing both grep and xargs power, it answer the main
issue with #9529.
Previous hardcoded checks were only aware of VP8 lossy chunk format,
leading to rejecting lossless or newer extended WebP images, while
the libwebp bellow could have handle them fine.
Fix#13712.
An interface that fail to configure due to link lost will be
reported to have "No Link" instead of to be still "Configuring...",
which was not the actual state.
For readers waiting in select() or simply in read(),
B_SELECT_DISCONNECTED notification didn't wake them anymore.
Now, cascade notifications to be sure to wake them, either
on POLLHUP, POOLERR/B_SELECT_ERROR or, at worst, from read().
See #7859 for details.
* Respect device's declared max packet size.
This improve support of USB midi controlers which don't support
arbitrary bulk read size, like iCON ones.
* Fix an logic inversion regarding O_RDONLY/O_WRONLY
and output or input ports only devices.
* add a sniff rule
* until we have an image translator for SVG, and since Web+ is not
included by default in Haiku images, made Web+ preferred app for SVG images.
Note that for compressed SVGZ (*.svgz), the sniff rule will still fail miserably.
Our sniffer will need decompression support before being able to do that...
I will take some rest as obviously I should not allwed to commit anything rigth now.
Sorry guys.

Fixed some coding style and a few sanity checks where it make sense.
This driver code is not in a good shape and needs a wide cleanup.
unfortunatly, I still don't have any device to test with, so I can't do that anytime soon.
Intead of letting his patch collecting dust since 3 months (my bad),
I think it's better the multi-port support gets at least more exposure than
just Pete's hardware.

print from this window's looper.
There is two majors bugs raised by the test page feature, which sports both
gradiants and vector drawing (leaf, gradiant colors):
- radiants are not recorded/handled in BPicture
color gradiants presents in the test page
- scale is not correctly recorded or handled in BPicture, as seen when zooming on
the leaf drawing in Preview window...
I will investigate how to fix both.
Anyway, an incomplete test page is better than none.
