Ithamar R. Adema 36fa904ede Fix aligment of data segment, by moving our ARM ldscript closer to the X86 one. This restores 
the state of the ARM port to booting all the way up to the idle thread again.

However, will still need to investigate why we need the PHDRS magic, likely due to improper
setup of the ARM toolchain. If anyone has ideas, please let me know!

Ithamar R. Adema c917cd6261 * ARM: Major VM work 
- This is mostly a copy of the x86 32bit paging method and infrastructure, this was copied for two reasons:
		1) It is the most complete VM arch
		2) The first ARM PAE patches have landed on alkml, so we will have to deal with it in the future as well,
		   and this infrastructure has proven to be ready ;)
	- No protection features, or dirty/accessed tracking yet
	- Lots of #if 0

	but....

	It boots all the way up to init_modules() now, and then dies because of a lack of (ARM) ELF relocation implementation!

	Since at this point the VM can be fully initialised, I'm going to focus on CPU exceptions next, so we can get KDL to trigger
	when it happens, and I can actually debug from there ;)

Ithamar R. Adema c4c6cedde6 * Work around a problem with a USB device (in my case, Qualcomm Gobi 3G modem) that reports interface_number values that are out of range with the interface_count. This would make the usb stack in Haiku crash. 
Will need a different fix to get device to work, but at least Haiku won't crash on bootup with this change.

Ithamar R. Adema b513501fe4 * When a BMenuItem contains a submenu, and that menu IsLabelFromMarked(), use its preferred width as the content width in GetContentSize(). 
This fixes problems with the Min/PreferredSize() calculations for BMenuField, with a Menu that IsLabelFromMarked().

Ithamar R. Adema 9661f324d9 * Don't mark edid_detailed_timing entries with a pixel_clock <= 0 as EDID1_IS_DETAILED_TIMING. This prevents decode_edid clients to incorrectly interpret the entries as valid. 
This fixes booting on the Samsung NP-N135, which used to reset before being able to enter the bootloader menu. It would be interesting if tickets #4408, #5539, #5696, and #5720 could be retested.

Ithamar R. Adema d023a58407 * Fix problem reported by stippi: The IPP transport addon expected the URL in a custom printer attribute instead of the standard transport_address attribute. This caused the IPP transport to ask for the URL even though the Printers preference panel had already stored the URL in the transport_address attribute.

Ithamar R. Adema f7b0c08cae This modifies the Postscript printer to be able to insert a pipe in between the Postscript generation 
and the transport addon. The actual command use as pipe is retrieved from the PPD that can be selected
at printer creation time.

Currently PPD selection is not shown (as the PPD directory is not available) and therefore the pipe
will not be inserted.

This still needs a bit of TLC, so hope to commit the last changes to fully support this later this week.

Ithamar R. Adema 19b602bcb0 Some initial code for USB Video-based Webcams. It currently parses the USB Video descriptors and dumps the information out via stdout. I'd be very pleased if anyone with a USB Video webcam (or other device) could take the following steps: 
* hey media_server QUIT
* /system/servers/media_server > /boot/home/media_server.log
* listusb -v > /boot/home/listusb.log

and mail the two resulting files to ithamar AT unet DOT nl. Thanks!

Ithamar R. Adema 62cb58a8ef Make print_server track Transport addons too. This is because some of the NewTransportAddOns(tm) can also autodetect devices, e.g. USB printers. For this, the print_server needs to keep those transport addons loaded at all times. This code now also enables dynamic Transport discovery for the Printer prefs, e.g. 'hey print_server GET Transport 0' or 'hey print_server GET Transport 'USB Port'' will now work too ;)

Ithamar R. Adema 957200056f Fixes for legacy_sata driver. It now: 
* boots Haiku successfully on 2 different test boxes here
	* no longer screws up when trying to write to PCI config space :)
	* Supports nVidia nForce chipsets
TODO:
	* Make 4 channel SATA controllers work (currently only recognizes first 2)
	* SATA PHY initialisation (needed for some BIOSes who might not do it)

Feel free to test this, and assign any problems with this driver to me.

Ithamar R. Adema fa48b9d885 Fixed the problem of not being able to work from Haiku. The main problem was that although the multi_audio API on BeOS hands the driver the settings as made in the Media prefs, the Haiku one just gives maximum values and assumes the driver will scale the values down. I didn't do that. 
If you run Haiku on HDA hardware, you should have sound now too! :)

Todo:
	* Publish devfs entries based on available Function Groups instead of HDA cards.
	* Publish all mixer controls / output busses through multi_audio interface.
	* Make recording work :)
	* Check why we need 4096 samples to play ok.
	* Figure out problems with driver on Haiku... currently only successfully tested on R5.

As you can see, plenty of things left to do, but progressing nicely. At least people can have sound on R5 now!
