* The application signatures now preserve the case; this is better for querying
after the app, and has no disadvantage.
* Adding an item to the list is now guarded by a try/catch block - allocations
can fail, and the registrar shouldn't get down because of this. We need to
proof-read all of registrar (and storage kit) for this :-/

* Also take the max backlog into account as set by listen() - but reserve a little
extra room for never completing connections, and that listen(..., 0) always accepts
at least a single connection (as the BSDs do).
* Spawned connections won't accept new connections, so SO_ACCEPTCONN must be cleared.

* BMenuWindow now makes its menu focus view, so that it can receive key events.
* Keyboard navigation doesn't work as it should though, that is bug #670 is
still valid - there should even be another recently opened bug about this,

the input method aware view.
This was necessary to support stopping an input method on the fly: if you press
the dead key first, then change to another view and press a key that is changed
by the dead key, the resulting key now reaches its target, and will no longer
be ignored.

for dead keys - IOW you'll now see dead keys in BTextViews as you would see real

removed or came after the first node to be kept.
* prepend_size() did not update the offset of the following nodes.
* write_data() and read_data() both did not update the data pointer, and thus

* merge_buffer() inserted the nodes in the wrong order when prepending a buffer.
* added a dump_buffer() function and lots of additional debug output (currently
commented out)
* simplified split_buffer() a bit more.
* implemented remove_trailer().

slab allocator we'll have one day), I don't feel like digging in an fixing its
bugs.
IOW local pings won't crash the kernel anymore, are no longer detected as
duplicates, and loopback does work now as well.
