settings ("Show x"). This required changing various logic, some of which I
think was also wrong in the negative settings case. Now if you turn off the
border when the title is on, the title will come back when the border is turned
back on. But any changes in the title setting force the border back on. When
loading the settings the border setting takes precedence.

instead just check if the size limits need to be set. The code that previously
did this when processing the B_LAYOUT_WINDOW message was extracted into a
private method, which is called from both places.
This may be slightly wasteful in some cases (since the size limits may be set
multiple times), but it is definitely needed because without it both of the
current test apps (DiskProbe and Screenshot) did not have properly centered
windows.

methods as well as Size(). To avoid the problem of centering the window before
it has been resized by the layout system, I force the resizing early. If there
is a better way to do this or some way to avoid doing it repeatedly, let me
know. But I figure the Center* methods should not be called that often.
Updated Screenshot and DiskProbe to use this new method as a test. It certainly
cleaned up DiskProbe. I will update other code over the next few days (if
anyone wants to help, please do :)

- Remove '`' and '~' keyboard shortcuts from DoKey as those will no longer be
processed there (they are processed at a higher level.)
- Make shortcut for previous app '1' (same behavior as the left cursor key.)
This required adding B_UNMAPPED_KEY_DOWN to MessageReceived since it is actually
Ctrl-1 that is being pressed (which is unmapped in our default keymap.)
- Make the processing of Ctrl-~ (or `) cycle through the windows when the
Twitcher window is showing. This is to mimic the behavior when the Twitcher
window is never shown. There is still a bug though: the order of the switching
changes after the Twitcher window is shown. Why do we have both CycleWindow and
SwitchWindow methods in TSwitchManager? The changing of order seems to be due
to the use of SwitchWindow instead of CycleWindow. I suppose this is for the
day when we implement quick window switching?

- Took Humdinger's excellent advice from #4190 to open the Backgrounds
preferences from ShowImage instead of setting the background manually. This
required some tweaks to the Backgrounds preferences to accept RefsReceived in
the application and forward that to the view. In addition the placement is
set to scaled since otherwise it will keep the old placement. How this is
done is sort of hacky, but I'm going to call it an "internal protocol." This
also allowed me to remove the BackgroundImage code from ShowImage which was
just copied from Tracker (yuck.)

a shortcut for fullscreen, but I guess the view was processing it first. So I
just removed B_ENTER as an option for next image. Also Shift plus primary mouse
was already working for moving the image.
Also I know it was discussed at length but I still wonder if all these options
for next and previous image are overkill. Now there is no way to scroll with
the keyboard. And there isn't an easy way to go to the next image with the
mouse (menus are a pain.) So I still think some more UI tweaking is needed to
avoid constant shifting between mouse and keyboard.
Finally I also added Command-1 as a shortcut for Original Size, but it does not
work. Anyone know why?

of their machine: if the password check is turned on, and the password window
is shown but times out (when the screen saver starts again after the standard
delay), the input filter never knew about this and would never try to end the
screen saver again.
The solution is to take the logic for turning off the screen saver out of the
input filter and put it in the screen blanker itself.
Also while working in the input filter I removed some debugging and a TODO that
I think cannot be fixed.
In the screen_blanker the exit after loading the settings file was removed
since the default settings now work for the screen_blanker.
Plus obviously code was added to handle exit upon user input as well as the
timing out of the password window.
If anyone has a better solution for the 250ms timeout to ignore initial mouse
moves, let me know.
Also I think the new calls should be nothrow, but I am not sure what the rule
is for that.

several translators which used the incorrect MIME type for the base Be Bitmap
Format. Please when adding translators use image/x-be-bitmap, not just
x-be-bitmap. Though I suppose the if statement in ShowImage could be changed to
only look for x-be-bitmap at the end of the string when filtering, I think this
is the proper fix.
While I was editing the translators I also made the naming more consistant by
adding the translator name in parenthesis after Be Bitmap Format for those that
did not have it.

since fPageFormatText is accessed in both branches of the if before the null
check. If it was actually null there would be a crash well before line 483. In
addition this member is initialized in the constructor. I assume the null check
was added to provide symmetry with the null check of fJobSetupText below it.
But that latter null check is needed since fJobSetupText may not have been
created in the constructor.

This adds a dependency on libpng.so and libz.so to libbe.so. The same

Summer of Code project. Thanks for your work Łukasz and I hope we can see
more work from you.
Still to do:
- Create an icon.
- Add pkg files to the MIME database with PackageInstaller as the default
handler. The rdef here has the MIME type name for the pkg format should
anyone else choose to add it :)
- Support for running scripts included with packages.
- Testing various different packages.
- Fixing problems in the Haiku GUI layout system which affect the code used
for various parts of the installer GUI (please bear with the commented out
code for now.)
- Adding this to the image.
Tomorrow I will add Łukasz's InstalledPackages utility which can be used to
view installed packages and uninstall them.
