Jérôme Duval 1f5d96afb8 we now print a warning message in the log when the interrupt comes in the second half of a buffer: this should mean the interrupt comes earlier than expected. 
Please report such warnings, they can help to investigate timing issues with some hda codecs.

Jérôme Duval d936f5e31f * now uses only one buffer_ready semaphore, this way the buffer exchange is done asap, useful when rates/formats are different between playback and record. 
* checked what offsets my hardware my hardware really had: it affected only playback, and was 192 for 16 bits and 256 for 20/24 bits. With these values, playback and record are crystal clear. 
As I can't find any references for such offset values anywhere, sorry it's not supposed to work out of the box on all hardware. Maybe we could adjust the offset at runtime.

Jérôme Duval 4489296bf4 * dumps format and rates supported by audio group, input and output widgets. 
Damn my hardware only supports 20bits input, though this explains why it doesn't work with 24bits input..

Jérôme Duval 8856fd5fcf Have MediaPlayer supports files with unknown duration: 
* Controller: accept streams with unknown duration. 
* PlaybackManager: trusts the current frame start and end when frameCount not positive. Also don't stop playing when fStopPlayingFrame is zero. 
* MediaTrackAudioSupplier: only fills with silent when the frame count is not zero.
* added some traces.

Jérôme Duval dc4c7cc492 * honors new frame size in the LockGL() method of the renderer, FrameResized() now notifies the renderer. 
* checks whether the rendered bitmap size matches the direct info size, if not, the renderer doesn't draw.
* we don't lock the view looper anymore in LockGL(), this avoids deadlocks with FrameResized().
* lock drawing when modifying the direct connection info.
* the renderer now locks the view looper with a timeout, as on resize the looper is locked and FrameResized called.
* the bug #3027 is fixed.

Jérôme Duval f1bd4cfe8c Patch from Raghu for 1st part of bug #2886. 'cd file' returns now "Not a directory". 
The check is done in the same way in bash 3.2.

Jérôme Duval 7305309909 * proposition to fix a deadlock between kernel daemon and package installer install thread (bug #3447) 
to manage this, avoid locking the main sLock in notification handling methods. Instead fill up two lists which will be emptied later by the kernel daemon thread.
